Faculty alum inspires future business leaders

Fort Lewis College alumna Lacey Donley, Ph.D. (Accounting and French, ’10), has come full circle, now shaping future business leaders as an assistant professor in the Katz School of Business.

Backed by the Katz School of Business endowment, Donley led two students to Washington, D.C., for behind-the-scenes visits with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. There, they connected with FLC alumni Andrew Cleve (Accounting, Cum Laude ’05), assistant chief auditor at the PCAOB, and saw firsthand the possibilities of their chosen field.

Donley’s mentorship reflects the power of exceptional faculty: graduates who return to FLC to inspire, open doors, and prepare students to make an impact far beyond campus.
