Bradley Family Professorship

FLC Foundation Director Gene Bradley and his wife Sally created the Bradley Family Professorship in the School of Business Administration. FLC Foundation Director

The Bradley Family Professorship supports an elite faculty position in the School of Business Administration. Funds provide stipends and resources for research, student programs, and professional development opportunities.

Ray Boucher Faculty Award

Alumnus Ray Boucher (Political Science and Business Administration, '80) created the Boucher Faculty Award in Political Science. Named professorships and faculty awards are two of the highest honors a college can bestow.

The Ray Boucher Faculty Award supports an elite faculty position within the Political Science Department. Funds may provide salary, benefits, or supplements to help attract and/or retain an eminent scholar. 

FLC Foundation Faculty Grants


Grants are at the heart of the student-learning experience. The FLC Foundation Faculty Grants program invests in faculty scholarship and professional development opportunities, emphasizing teaching, service, and research endeavors that directly impact and inspire student success.

Some faculty grants supported in 2022-2023:

Callie Cole, associate professor of Chemistry, researched Ska Brewing products alongside students and presented findings at the American Society for Brewing Chemists National Conference in June 2023.

William Mira, assistant professor of Psychology, applied funds to launch an after-school tutoring and mentoring program pairing FLC students with Durango's Escalante Middle School students.

Erik Juergensmeyer, professor of English, received funding to support area professional mentoring students studying Conflict Management in pursuit of their "40-hour Basic Mediation" certifications.
